Amanda Zhao

Amanda is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) with over 20 years of experience across public practice, multinational companies, and finance leadership. She runs her own accounting practice and serves as Regional Finance Manager (APAC) for a UK-based technology company.

She has spent her career managing budgets, preparing board reports, working with auditors, and ensuring strong financial governance. She believes members deserve transparency, responsible stewardship of their fees, and a long-term financial strategy that allows GPA to focus on what matters most: supporting general practice in Aotearoa.
