Support your clinic’s GP team with a group membership General Practitioners Aotearoa.

As GPs, we are the backbone of healthcare, and now is the time to unite and amplify our collective voice. By joining, you’re not just adding your name to a membership – you’re becoming part of a powerful movement to safeguard the future of general practice. Together, we can drive the decisions that impact our profession and ensure GPs remain central to healthcare leadership. We’ve made membership accessible for every GP because your voice matters. This is your opportunity to step into a role of influence and help shape the direction of general practice. The question isn’t if you should join – it’s how far we can go together. Join us, and let’s lead the future of general practice.

Members will have all the same benefits as a regular member:

  • Members are eligible to vote in the Board election for their representatives, who will shape policy.
  • Members are eligible to be nominated for Board positions.
  • Members will have a constitutionally protected voice with a clear process of how that voice is represented.
  • As the organisation grows in strength, so too will our ability to offer new membership benefits.

As the membership manager for your team, you will have the ability to:

  • Purchase and cancel memberships at the discounted team price
  • Reassign membership “seats” if GPs join or leave your clinic

Once you have purchased your team membership, you can add yourself as a member, and send invitations to your team.

Please note that membership is restricted to GPs only. A clinic administrator can be the manager of the team membership, but they cannot assign a membership to themselves.
